DescriptionOval locket with red-gold finish. The hinged lid is etched with a landscape and is currently loose from the locket. The main body of the locket has a feather decoration around the edges. The central oval is a receptacle with dark brown hair looped inside and a currently broken piece of glass covering the opening. The locket was designed to be worn as a pin. It may represent mourning of a loved one.
