DescriptionA six-story stone office building in the Second Empire style is located on a street corner. A sign over the entrance reads "Charter Oak Life Ins. C[o.]" A woman stands in the window to the right of the sign. Other women and men walk on the paved sidewalks in front of the building. A horse-drawn trolley in the street has signs that read "SPRING GROVE & CITY GARDEN" and "H. & W. H. R. R." A horse-drawn carriage is on the side street.
