Edmund N. Tarbell

BiographyEdmund N. Tarbell was born in New York City in 1831. He worked as a wood engraver in New York in 1854 and in Boston from 1857 to 1860. In 1860 he was a boarder in the house of Hammatt Billings. By 1880, he was living in Meriden, Connecticut. He died 14 August 1916 and is buried in Zion Hill Cemetery in Hartford.
