DescriptionInfant's nightgown of white cotton. The nightgown has a high, round neckline with a narrow ruffle of eyelet embroidery under the neckline binding. Extending the entire length of the center front is a band of pintucks, flanked with two wider tucks. The sleeves are cut like a coat sleeve, with an upper and lower seam. They are set smoothly into the armscyes and end with four rows of pintucks above a ruffle of eyelet around the wrist. The center back opening is eleven inches long and fastens with two mother of pearl buttons.
