DescriptionTwo women stand facing each other in a landscape. The woman on the left is seen from behind. Her prominent chin protrudes from beneath a large bonnet trimmed with a bow. She also wears a cloak. She appears to be reading the other woman's palm. The second woman wears a bonnet, a dress with a lace collar, and a shawl. She holds a parasol. A pot suspended on a tripod over a fire and tent are in the left background. A man leaning against a tree is in the right background.
