DescriptionFifteen women typists wearing skirts and blouses sitting on a giant working model of the Underwood No. 5 typewriter for the 1915 Panama-Pacific Exposition. Paper in the typewriter says "Westward Ho! Over the Rockies we go! Meet us in the palace of Liberal Arts, Court of the Universe, San Francisco. Typed inscription on back: "World's largest typewriter to be exhibited at Panama-Pacific Exposition, is 21 feet high, weighs 26 tons and costs $100,000"
