DescriptionWoman's white cotton petticoat with a drawstring waist. The petticoat is cut with the straight grain at center front and the waistline as a semi-circle; the back is pieced out with a gore. The effect is that the fullness of the petticoat pulls to the back, while the front is smooth. The 9 1/2-inch-deep flounce around the bottom is embroidered with white thread in a floral design, and the edge is scalloped and finished with bottonhole stitch.
