DescriptionTwo figures (a man and a boy?) on a road through a steep rocky gorge. The road is evidently the road from Meriden to Berlin, described in Barber's text, as leading through the Blue Mountains, later known as the Hanging Hills. Cathole Pass lies between Cathhole and South Mountain.
