DescriptionView of the building in the northern part of Danbury in which Robert Sandeman established his church in 1763. The former church is a small two-story building on the left. A small one-story building is in the center and part of a second two-story building is at the right. Inscriptions identify "board fence[s" in the foreground. Another note indicates the "Dining Room with every Sunday a kind of Love Feast." The Sandemanians believed their church was the only true church, arisen from the ruins of the Antichrist, whose reign was near its close
