DescriptionPhotographs taken by Waterbury photographers Alfred A. Adt and George N. Grannis. Subjects include the flood of August 1875, the Waterbury Button Shop, the Post Office Block, the view from the A. B. Wilson residence, a railroad accident, the ruins of a Gothic revival church, a view on North Main Street, and a view of the central business district. One photograph shows a man with a Civil War era artillelry piece in front of a multiple-family dwelling.
