DescriptionView of a man in uniform shaving at an outdoor sink. The sink consists of a spigot and a wash basin on four legs. The man faces the camera, smiling. His right hand touches his face, and his left hand is covered in foam. There is a bucket on the ground next to him which has "Q. M. D. / CONN" stenciled on it. There is a grassy path behind the man. On either side of it there are tents and cots set up. There is a group of men walkind down the path. Behind them, in the background of the image, there is a single long building.
