DescriptionWoman's black silk quilted hood, lined with pink satin. The black satin is machine-quilted. The garment is constructed with a shallow hood, which is gathered into an eight-inch-wide shoulder cape that is split into an inverted V-shape at the center back. The outer edges are trimmed with a box-pleated black satin ribbon ruffle. The hood ties with black satin ribbons. The pink satin lining appears to be the second lining used--a blue silk lining is apparent through the splits in the pink satin. Neither lining is quilted.
