DescriptionWoman's white cotton morning sacque. The center front has an inset of ruched self-fabric, flanked by ruffled edgings of whitework embroidery. The sacque opens along the proper left side of the inset and fastens with four widely spaced mother of pearl buttons. The ruffles flanking the inset continue around the neckline. The shoulderline is normal and the three-quarter-length sleeves are set smoothly into the armscye. The wrist openings are edged with a small engageante-style flounce of tucked self-fabric and whitework embroidery. The back of the sacque is fitted with princess seaming. The bottom of the sacque has a 4 3/8-inch-wide flounce of self-fabric.
