DescriptionHalf-length portrait of a man wearing a coat with wide lapels, a vest, shirt, and tie. He is seated in an armchair upholstered with fabric that appears to have a moiré pattern. His left elbow rests on a sheet of paper. Patterned drapes with fringe, cord, and tassels are in the left background. A fluted column is in the right background.
