DescriptionBust-length miniature portrait of an elderly woman facing to her left. She has gray eyes and wears a white bonnet with black ribbon, white pearls around lower neck and a black dress with white collar. Set in brass oval, which is set into black wood frame with brass clip and loop at top for suspension. Back of frame is covered with brown paper, handwritten across back in ink, "Rebecca Spooner - /wife of /Timothy Green /born Aug 2nd 1743 /died Feb 8th 1806".
