DescriptionBlack crushed beaver top hat with black felt band around crown. Inner brim of hat is a dark green color, along base is a tan leather band over a cream satin material which lines the top of the hat. A small white bow is sewn upside down to the back of the inside of hat. Printed to top inner portion of hat in black, a logo depicting a coat of arms, with a lion, unicorn, and crown; across reads, "BY WARRANT TO / HIS MAJEST[Y] THE KING / ESTABLISHED IN THE REIGN OF KING GEORGE IV / HENRY HEATH / LIMITED / 1822 / 105,107,109, OXFORDS. T, W. / LONDON." Below this is a rectangular box, printed in black across, "Made expressly for / The Wilson Co, / NEW BRITAIN, CONN.".
