DescriptionMap of Connecticut, with Massachusetts to the north, Rhode Island to the east, the Long Island Sound to the south, and New York to the west. The state is divided into counties, outlined in dark pink, and towns, colored pink, yellow, green or blue. Natural features include rivers, islands, lakes and mountains, with elevation conveyed through hachure marks. Railroads depicted include the Housatonic, Naugatuck, New York and New Haven, Hartford and New Haven, Hartford and Willimantic, and the line to Providence.
