He was an alumnus of Trinity College and Harvard Law school. He was married to Emily Brace Collins for two years before he died and the couple had one child, Jane Hamersley Wright. The subject of this photograph may not be Bill Hamersley, since Hamersley wore eyeglassses and did not have a beard; this man has a beard and no eyeglasses. (Ruocco, 03/24/12)
