DescriptionCotton pieced quilt of light colored hexagons surrounded by dark colored triangles. Edged in pink printed white cotton. The quilt is T-shaped, with large square cut-outs at each bottom corner to accommodate bed posts.
Small paper label adhered on verso at proper right upper corner. Handwritten in ink on label: "Given to Walter F. Brooks by / Mrs. Charles Gardner. [?] Norwich CT / July 17. 1897. She says this and comforter [crossed out] bed quilt / was made by Sarah Price out of / some old Calico dresses that were / my great grandmother Susan / Faulkners [?]"
