DescriptionJewelry box covered in sea foam green paper embossed to look like leather with metallic silver decoration stamped along the edges of the box. The lid is hinged and is secured with a thumb-screw which is painted in green enamel to match the box. The lid is lined with white satin printed in black ink AND IS PRINTED with: "G. FOX & CO. / EST. HARTFORD"; the base of the box is lined with black velvet and is fitted with two slots which could work to hold a pair of rings, earrings or cuff links.
