DescriptionFull-length portrait depicts an elderly man seated in a side chair, holding a newspaper. His legs are crossed. A potted plant is on a window sill at the left. The window curtain is held back by what appears to be a metal hook. Two books are on a table with a tablecloth at the right. A mirror in a frame hangs on the wall.
