DescriptionLight brown envelope containing a hair net made of real human hair, with printing and lettering on both sides. On front side, a large image of a woman with a 'bob' haircut looking into the mirror is in the center. On both sides of the image are strands of roses which extend to the side. There is a white and brown border that goes all the way around the exterior of the envelope. Inside the envelope is the hair net, which is folded tightly in wax paper, and appears to have never been used.

MarkingsOn front of the envelope in brown lettering is printed, "OUR INSURANCE GIRL / hair net / is guaranteed. If any imperfections / are founds before wearing return / with this envelope and we will / give you a new net. / G. Fox & Company Inc." On the bottom left side of the front of the envelope in small lettering reads, "9-27-100." On the back of the envelope in brown lettering of differing sizes reads "BOB SIZE/ CAP SHAPE / LIGHT BROWN/," "OUR INSURANCE GIRL/," "THE PERFECT / FULL SIZE HAIR NET/," "MADE OF/ REAL/ HUMAN HAIR /SANITARY/ AND/ DURABLE/," "made exclusively for and guaranteed by / G. Fox & Company inc. / Hartford. Conn."
