DescriptionThe two-piece sterling silver belt buckle is comprised of two circular components that clip together with hardware affixed to their backs. The original belt is missing. The fronts of the two pieces are identical and are decorated in dark blue and white enamel with the Greek words "SIGIL COLL YALEN NOV PORT NOV ANGL" and the Latin phrase "LUX ET VERITAS"; an open book is inscribed in Hebrew. Both pieces are sterling silver and are so-marked on the back as is the name, "CMR" which indicates the manufacturer.
