DescriptionA bronze medallion commemorating the Bicentennial of Yale University in 1901. The front of the medallion has a relief image of a Roman man in a horse-pulled cart and a woman on the viewer's right. "LUX ET/ VERITAS" is inscribed at the top. On the reverse side, there are two torches on the left and right with text in the center. The text inscribed in the center is "UNIVERSITAS YALESNSIS/ AD MDCCCCI/ CONCELEBRAT/ COLLEGIUM YALENSE/ A. D. MDCCI CONDITUM."
