DescriptionSeven women and ten men stand on the steps of a brick church with stained glass windows. Some men have mustaches; one has a beard. One woman and one man wear eyeglasses. Ivy grows on the church walls. A flowering shrub, possibly a mock orange, is at the left. Gate posts are in the foreground and a picket gate or fence is visible at the far right. A sign above the church door reads: "Erste Deutsche Baptisten Kirche." A sign at the left of the door reads: "PASTOR / D. KOENI[G]" A sign at the right of the door reads: "GOTTEDIENST / 10:30 A.M. / 7:30 P.M. / SONNTAGSCHULE."
