DescriptionLarge brick industrial building. The entrance is through a corner tower with rounded arches and a corbel table below the parapet. A sign above the door reads "The Billings & Spencer Co." A sign on the door reads "Office." There is a striped awning on one window. Ivy grows on the building. An iron fence surrounds it. Utility poles line the street. A vacant lot on the opposite corner of the intersection is overgrown with weeds.

NotesSubject Note: Billings & Spencer had factories on Russ Street, at the corner of Lawrence Street, at 1 Laurel Street and on Capitol Avenue. The company manufactured drop forgings for pistols, sewing machines, locomotives, trolleys and "machines of every description."
