DescriptionA panoramic view of Hartford from an elevated location shows Bushnell Park, Soldiers and Sailors Arch, and the Park River in the foreground. The Connecticut River is in the right background, and in the center are factories and business buildings, stores, dwellings, dirt roads, bridges, horses, and wagons. On buildings in the center are signs reading "Furniture Store" and "Plimpton's Manufacturing Company".
