Elijah Tracy
American, about 1766 - 1807
Elijah Tracy's style was similar to his father's. He likely trained with his father to learn the furniture making craft. His exact birth date is unclear, but in the 1790 census, he was twenty-four years old with a wife and two children. Elijah Tracy obtained a letter of dismissal from his church in Newent on 15 October 1801 and relocated with his family to Clinton, in the town of Paris, in Oneida County, New York. He died there at the age of forty. His death was reported in the Norwich Courier on 1 February 1807.
