DescriptionBlown colorless non-lead glass decanter with a light grey-green tint. The taper-shaped decanter has a ring at the rim, a narrow neck, a low sloping shoulder, a cylindrical body, and a flat, polished bottom with the remnants of a pontil mark in the center. The decanter is wheel engraved with decorations in the neoclassical style. The decanter has one narrow band of engraving at the neck, consisting of a band with short, slanted, parallel lines inside it. A second band of engraving at the shoulder includes a band with short, jagged, polished lines; above the band is a densely-packed band of vertical lines, each with an engraved circle at the top. Below the engraved bands at the shoulder are swags of short, vertical, polished lines. Small, stylized floral medallions are engraved into the glass at the highest point of the swags. The inside of the neck is ground to receive a stopper. The bottom edge of the decanter has a ring of light scratches.
