DescriptionBlown and cut colorless non-lead glass decanter with a slightly flared lip, an inverted conical neck, a low sloping shoulder, a cylindrical body, and a flat bottom. The decanter is decorated with seven bands of shallow cut and polished decoration, beginning at the neck, which is cut into flat diamonds, or facets. Below this is a band of vertical flutes, then a band of stylized leaves, or laurels, then a band of square quartered diamonds. The fifth band is another band of stylized leaves, above another band of square diamonds, followed by a taller band of flutes around the bottom of the sides of the decanter. The bottom of the decanter is cut into an eight-pointed star. A small amount of cork is stuck inside the ground neck of the decanter. There are some scratches and patterns of wear on the bottom of the decanter, near the edges.
