DescriptionGroup of employees, some wearing aprons, stand at workbenches with hand tools, product parts, containers and debris in industrial factory with timber joists and electric lamps and pipes hanging from wood ceiling. Hanging on rack at left appears to be automobile radiators. In foreground appears to be a soldering or welding station. Under awning windows on right is a row of six pipes. Inscription on back: "C. S. Merrick Co.?"
NotesSubject Note: In 1892, the C. S. Mersick and Company, located at 286, 288, 290, 292 State Street were manufacturers of general hardware and supplies for tinsmiths, plumbers, and blacksmiths. They were importers and dealers in iron, steel and metals.
