DescriptionMan in mustache wearing a coat and bowler hat standing inside industrial building timber trusses, joists and wood plank ceiling with skylights. Heavy metal machinery tracks at ceiling joists say, "American Pin Co, Waterville, Conn" from which hang chains and grabbing hooks. There is a large brick central chimney and windows at back and side of room.Wooden barrels are on the right and various types of forms, molds and bins on the left and what appears to be masonry troughs.
NotesSubject Note: The American Pin Company, founded in Waterbury in 1846, manufactured notions, brass goods, safety pins and hooks and eyes. In 1894 they moved production to Waterville.
