DescriptionFormal studio portraits and amateur snapshots of George and/or Mary Keller with other family relatives. Most of the amateur photographs were taken outside, in front of a house. One photograph was taken inside the drawing room in the Kellers' house on Park Terrace in Hartford, Connecticut; paintings and pottery are on the walls and shelves. Several photographs include a dog. Several include chairs or rocking chairs. In all of the photographs, the men are wearing suits or dress shirts (some with ties) and the women are wearing dresses.
NotesSubject Note: George Keller was an architect in Hartford, Connecticut in the late 1800s and early 1900s. He married Mary Monteith Smith Keller in 1887 and they lived mainly on Park Terrace in Hartford, Connecticut with a summer home in Norfolk, Connecticut. In addition to George and/ or Mary Keller, these photographs include Thomas Keller (George's brother), Eleanor Keller Morgan or "Auntie Nell" (George's sister), Laura Morgan (George's niece), and George and Mary's children: Hilda, George, and Walter. Also included in several photographs are Eleanor Keller Morgan's dog, Dandy.Status
