DescriptionAmateur photographs of the Keller home at 24 Park Terrace, Hartford, Connecticut. One photograph is of the outside row of homes on Park Terrace. The remaining photographs are inside rooms including the library, dining room and drawing room. Several of the photographs show fireplaces, tables, chairs and the "jewel" stained glass windows.
NotesSubject note: George Keller designed the row houses on Park Terrace and was given 24 Park Terrace as a fee for drawing up the plans for the entire row. The Kellers moved there in 1896 and George and Mary Keller lived there until their deaths. Their daughter, Hilda, continued to live there until she sold the house in1955. The Park Terrace homes were converted into "war housing" apartments during World War II.
