DescriptionView of Hartford from the east side of the Connecticut River. The open space toward the left is identified as "State Stre[et]." The Old State House is at the top of the street. To the right of center, a "about tholic" church is noted. The waterfront is lined with industrial buildings and warehouses. The spires of several churches are visible on the skyline.
