DescriptionA view down the main street of Somers. "Mountains" can be seen in the distance and "Elm" trees are noted along the street. A detail in the upper right shows the Methodist Church surrounded by a "picket" fence. At least one tavern sign is evident in front of a large "brick red" building on the left. Barber notes a "post office." Other houses or businesses are visible.
