DescriptionLeather overshoes with short vamp, oval toe, and tabs that extend from the sides. The tabs are punched to receive a ribbon tie. The shoes are seamed up the center front of the vamp. There is no center back seam; the side seams are set back near the heel. The soles are flat and straight; the heel area is pegged. The overshoes may have a spring heel, but this area is so worn down it is hard to tell if this is an insertion of leather above the sole (thus a spring heel), or an original overlapping of sole leather. The shoes are lined and bound with leather.
