BiographyCharles William Everest was born in East Windsor, Connecticut on May 27, 1814. He graduated from Trinity College in 1838 and took Holy Orders in 1842. He wrote poems and hymns and was rector of the Rectory School in Hamden, Connecticut. He died in Waterbury, Connecticut on January 11, 1877.
