BiographyFifteen residents of the town of Eastford, Connecticut met together in March 1966 and formed the Eastford Historical Society. Harold D. Carpenter was the first chairman of the society; Mrs. Lennox F. Beach was the first secretary. The society published a map of Eastford in 1976.
