BiographyHarold D. Carpenter was born on 4 June 1904. He was a prominent citizen of the town of Eastford, Connecticut, where he served on the board of selectmen. He was a founding member of the Eastford Historical Society. He died in October 1977 after being struck by a falling tree limb.
