Osbert Burr Loomis

BiographyOsbert Burr Loomis was born 30 July 1813 in Hartford County, Connecticut. He married Jeanette H. Jarvis on 20 December 1843. In 1874 Osbert Loomis, along with others, founded the Loomis Institute in Windsor, Connecticut. He died in New York City on 30 April 1886.
