BiographyCharles R. Hansel and Frederick H. Sloan were the partners in Hansel, Sloan & Co., a jewelry store at 323 Main Street, Hartford, Connecticut. For a photograph of the store front, see accession number X.2000.37.182 at the Connecticut Historical Society. The retailers were in business in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
