BiographyAjax Envelope Company of New York and the Howard Manufacturing Company of Jersey City formed American Paper Goods and moved to Kensington, Connecticut in 1893. In 1954 American Paper Good Company was purchased by a company who continued to the run the factory as part of their paper container division. The factory closed in 2004 and was converted to apartments in 2010.
