BiographyCaroly Lloyd was the daughter of Mary Bradley Lloyd (1773-1845) and Thomas Lloyd (1768-1842). Her father as born in Duxbury, Massachusetts, but moved to Hartford, Connecticut, as a young man. He was a member of the Connecticut Land Company and had extensive land holdings in Ohio.
