BiographyNancy Goff was born 28 July 1801 in Rehoboth, Massachusetts. She married Harry Burgess (b. 1801) of Plainfield, Connecticut, on 6 April 1826. They had five children: Cornelia Elisa (b. 1827); Ann Maria (b. 1829); Henry Clay (b. 1831); Daniel Judson (b. 1834); and Sarah Gay (b. 1836).
