BiographyThe Bristol Red Sox baseball club was a minor league baseball franchise based in Bristol, Connecticut. It was the Double-A Eastern League farm system affiliate of the Boston Red Sox for ten seasons (1973-1982) and played at Muzzy Field.
In 1983, the franchise moved to New Britain, Connecticut and became the New Britain Rock Cats until 2015. In 2016, the franchise moved to Hartford, Connecticut as the Hartford Yard Goats.
