Description(s) Fashion drawing by Gertrude Conklin. Pencil and watercolor drawing of a woman wearing a floor length dress with a three-quarter length long sleeve coat, both of white sequins. The woman has Caucasian skin-tone, light brown hair, and is wearing makeup. The woman is drawn standing with a hand on her hip; she holds a cigarette in the other hand.
A description of the design is handwritten on (t) card affixed to the verso of (s). The dress is fitted along the body with a very slight flair at the hemline. The coat obscures the bodice of the dress. The coat features a round collar and button closures at center front. There is an unpainted sketch of the back of the dress without the coat to the right of the main fashion drawing. The back of the dress features a slight v-shape to the back neckline and a small belt below the bust.
