Description(q) Fashion drawing attributed to Gertrude Conklin. Pencil and watercolor drawing of a woman wearing a floor-length white evening dress. The woman has Caucasian skin-tone, light brown hair, and is wearing makeup. She is drawn standing with her hands crossed in front of her stomach.
A description of the design is handwritten on (r) card affixed to the verso of (q). The dress features a low V-neckline with red piping and a red stiff collar with points extending over the shoulder. The white dress is fitted through the waistline with a slight flare at the hemline. There is an unpainted sketch of the back of the garment to the right of the main fashion drawing. The red collar is rounded in the rear of the neck and the dress features an open back.
