DescriptionSixth plate daguerreotype of Hannah Edwards Dorrance, a woman of middle age. She is wearing a dress with a deep v-neck bodice, under which is a chemise or other undergarment. Her hair is parted in the middle and pulled back, and she is wearing a bonnet or daycap set back on her head, exposing her hair.
