DescriptionSixth-plate daguerreotype of Eliza Ann (Stedman) Ferdon. She is young, possibly in her late teens or early twenties. Her hair is parted in the middle and fashioned into curls that hang on either side of her face. She is wearing a white or light-colored bodice with a lace collar fastened at the neck with a brooch.
The brass window mat is notable for its detail; it features two columns framing the image, with two birds (eagles?) on the upper left and right sides. "207 BOWERY / N.Y." is stamped long the bottom of the mat.
